Kracey MCP Connector

The Kracey MCP connector lets an AI assistant read your own Kracey training data, so you can ask Claude about your sessions, best efforts, race predictions and HYROX splits, and your heart rate and recovery if you choose to share them. It is free and read-only, and it runs no AI model of its own: every answer is a lookup or a calculation.

Before You Connect

  • You need a Kracey account. Signing in is part of connecting.
  • To read your training, connect intervals.icu under Settings. The calculators and the race finder work without it.
  • You do not need a Kracey subscription.

Connect from ChatGPT

ChatGPT is one of the assistants Kracey accepts, and it is limited to training data: it is never offered your heart and recovery data. Step-by-step instructions for ChatGPT will be added to this page when Kracey's ChatGPT listing is published.

What You Grant: Scopes

When you connect, the Kracey consent screen shows what the assistant will receive. There are two kinds of data:

ScopeWhat it covers
TrainingSessions & laps, pace, distance & volume, best efforts & predictions, HYROX results & plan. The plan is there if you have a coach plan. Every connection includes it.
Heart and recovery dataHeart rate & HR zones, VO2max, load & fitness, effort ratings, sleep, HRV & resting HR. A separate tick on the consent screen, off until you tick it. Offered to Claude and Claude Code only.

Both count as health data, so choosing Allow is your explicit consent to share them with that assistant. What happens to them inside it is in the privacy policy.

The connection also asks to stay signed in, so your assistant does not ask you to log in again every hour. That is not data.

Never shared, by any scope: your conversations with the coach, what the coach remembers about you, and anything you told it about an injury or illness.

Only Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT can connect. Any other client is refused before it can ask you anything. ChatGPT can never receive heart and recovery data.

What It Reads, and What It Changes

It reads the signed-in account's own data, and only that account's. No tool takes another person's name or account.

It changes nothing: Every tool is read-only. Building a plan, changing it and race week preparation are listed as tools, and each one answers that it needs the Kracey coach.

Every tool, with what it returns and the scope it needs, is in the tools reference.

How Your Data Is Handled

  • What your assistant reads leaves Kracey: From there, that assistant handles it under its own terms.
  • A copy is kept for 15 minutes, so several questions in a row do not each fetch your training from intervals.icu again.
  • Strava-synced sessions are left out: Strava's API terms do not allow serving its data to AI tools. Sync your watch to intervals.icu directly and those sessions are included.
  • Garmin sessions are marked, so your assistant can credit Garmin.
  • Access is short-lived: An access token lasts an hour and is renewed while you use the connection. Tokens are stored hashed.
  • You can disconnect at any time under Connected assistants in Settings. It stops working at once.
  • Deleting your Kracey account ends every assistant connection along with everything else.
  • Kracey never sells your data and never uses it to train AI models. See the security page and the privacy policy.
